Rent Payment Policy & Resources
Rent is due on the 1st day of each month.
Rent should be paid online (best) or mailed to:
Right At Home Rentals
1400 Easton Road
Riegelsville, PA 18077
Rent is considered late after 1PM on the 5th day of the month.
A late fee will be automatically charged to your account if rent is not received online through your Tenant Portal or in the mail on the 5th day.
If rent is not received by the 10th day of the month, a Landlord-Tenant Complaint will be filed at the District Court.
A hearing is scheduled within 7 days. A constable will deliver notice or post it on your door requiring you to appear in court. In addition to the court costs, our fee is charged to your account, per our lease agreement, when the Landlord-Tenant Complaint is filed.
If judgement is entered against you in court, you have 10 days to pay your rent, court costs and fees.
If you do not pay, an Order for Possession is filed (on the 11th day) which gives you 10 more days to pay.
If you have not paid your rent, costs and fees by the 11th day from when the Order for Possession is filed, Eviction and LOCKOUT occurs.
The Constable will require you to leave the premises and you will not be allowed to re-enter. You can be arrested by the Police if you re-enter without permission.
Payment History
Repeated late or partial payments, repeated returned payments, or repeated court action may result in early lease termination.
YOU MAY PAY YOUR RENT AT ANY TIME
We value our landlord-tenant relationship and would much rather keep you as a good tenant than to go through the collection process or court. We are always available by email or text so please reach out to discuss your situation before it becomes a problem. It's always best to stay in contact and let us know if you need special arrangements for payment.
